As Opella officially launched as an independent company, their Vietnam team joined us for an insightful tour of Buymed's Fulfillment Centers (FCs). The visit offered a closer look at our inbound and outbound logistics operations, with a strong emphasis on how we leverage QR-based verification systems to enhance transparency and traceability in every shipment—supporting pharmacies across Vietnam and protecting the healthcare ecosystem from the growing threat of counterfeit drugs.

Strengthening Strategic Collaboration

This warehouse tour served as a practical continuation of the strategic meetings held earlier in March, where both teams came together to review and strengthen the foundations of our collaboration. During those discussions, we evaluated the success of our exclusive OTC eCommerce distribution model on thuocsi.vn. With encouraging results in both performance and pharmacy reach, we proposed expanding the lineup in 2025 with additional trusted consumer healthcare brands—building on a proven model of quality-first distribution.

The March sessions also explored new distribution possibilities for Opella's consumer healthcare portfolio via Buymed's retail pharmacy network – including the Circa chain and nationwide Buymed Ambassador Pharmacies. These omnichannel pathways reflect our joint vision of bringing trusted healthcare products even closer to the patients who need them.

Education and Pharmacist Empowerment

In addition, both teams aligned on revitalizing well-known brands through product innovation and integrated marketing, with Buymed supporting a comprehensive approach to pharmacy-led brand reactivation. A shared priority moving forward is education and pharmacist empowerment. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to increasing expert-led product training via thuocsi.vn, ensuring pharmacists have the knowledge and confidence to deliver the best recommendations to their customers.
